Solar folding roof at the WWTP Herisau, Canton of Appenzell
With an installed capacity of 345.6 kWp and an annual yield of approx. 293,500 kWh, the solar folding roof over the clarification tanks at the WWTP in Herisau will cover around 25% of the sewage treatment plant's energy requirements from renewable sources. This is now the second solar folding roof in Appenzellerland.
